Changelog

New features and improvements we've shipped in Mailly.

  1. The MCP server is open source, at a new address

Mailly's MCP server is now the open-source project superagents-lab/mailly-mcp, served at https://mcp.mailly.site/mcp. If you connected with the old address, reconnect with the new one.

    • Install the Mailly plugin in Claude Code with /plugin install mailly --marketplace superagents-lab/mailly-mcp.
    • Permissions you leave unchecked when connecting with OAuth are enforced by the API itself, not only by the tool list.
  2. Agents can use the inbox right after setup

When an agent sets up an inbox for you, it now receives the API key along with the address once you confirm in your browser, so you no longer copy the key over. The setup instructions for agents now live at mailly.site/auth.md.

    • The confirmation page says exactly what the agent receives.
    • Agents still ask you before sending mail.
  3. A new page for claiming your address

Claiming an address at mailly.site/onboard now happens on a lobby letterbox wall: your name is engraved on your box as you type, and one click on the link in your email opens the box with the first letter already inside.

    • See whether a name is free as you type.
    • Once it's yours, save your box as an image and post it on X or anywhere else.
    • Rather not do it yourself? Copy one line for your agent and let it claim the address.
    • Hide your address before sharing, so the image and post show only its first character.
  4. A smoother Agent panel

Talking to your Agent feels faster: your message shows up right away, replies stream in word by word, and tool calls stay collapsed unless they need your approval.

    • Replies render full Markdown, including tables, lists and code blocks you can copy in one click.
    • Keep typing your next message while the Agent is still working.
    • The panel is lighter and opens faster.
  5. New docs, faster workspace

The docs moved to mailly.site/docs, in English and Chinese with search, and every page has a Markdown version for agents.

    • Navigating no longer waits on a sign-in check, and common pages show cached content while they refresh.
  6. Customize email summaries

The summary generated for each new email can now follow your own prompt. The default prompt follows your interface language.

    • Change it in Agent settings, or through MCP, the CLI or the API.
    • The CLI can list your hosted Agent's runs and approve or discard the drafts it wrote.
    • You can cancel a single in-flight Workflow run.
    • The inbox stays fast even with a lot of mail.
  7. Let your Agent claim a mailbox for you

Your Agent can reserve a @mailly.site name for you. Verify once with your own email and it is yours, without giving the Agent access to your account.

    • Names are 3 to 64 characters and held for 30 minutes.
  8. Remote MCP covers everything

Every Mailly feature now has an MCP tool, so your Agent can forward and delete mail, import contacts, resend failed Campaign recipients and manage inbound webhooks.

  9. Multiple inbound webhooks and Enterprise

One inbox address can push to several webhooks at once, and you can send a test event without waiting for real mail.

    • New Enterprise plan with custom limits, a negotiated price and invoiced billing.
    • The whole workspace and its error messages are available in English.
    • SMTP rejections and failed logins now say exactly what went wrong.
  10. Mailly is live

Mailly is an email platform for AI agents. Your Agent gets its own two-way inbox to receive, read and reply to mail, and you see every message in the workspace and approve its drafts before they go out.

    • Connect through Remote MCP, the HTTP API, SMTP or webhooks. Install the CLI and Agent skill with npm install -g mailly-cli.
    • A hosted Agent summarizes new mail and drafts replies, and nothing is sent without your approval.
    • Send and receive on your own domain, with templates, contacts, audiences, Campaigns and Workflows.
    • No subscription required: Free includes 3,000 emails and a US$1 allowance every month, with top-ups from US$5. Developer is available monthly or yearly.
    • The website and workspace are available in English and Chinese.
